Explore the impressive world of glass railings, where safety and design are perfectly balanced! Made from laminated safety glass, they offer maximum protection and durability.
Today, glass is no longer used only for windows but also for creating exclusive products such as glass railings.
There are many types depending on the mounting and structure—you decide which style and price range suits you best.
Whether it's a metal railing with glass inserts or a freestanding glass structure, we always use laminated safety glass. For metal railings with glass inserts, we typically use 4+4 or 5+5 laminated glass. For profile-based railings or point-fixed systems, we often use 8+8 tempered laminated glass, and for commercial or public spaces, 10+10 or 12+12 tempered laminated glass is standard.
Laminated safety glass consists of two glass sheets bonded together. These can be tempered or non-tempered, depending on the structural load, type of installation, and technical requirements. Glass railings can be installed both indoors and outdoors. All fittings are made from stainless steel, and we can powder coat them to match the surrounding interior or exterior color scheme.
Brushed stainless steel railing with glass inserts is the most cost-effective option.
This is one of the most popular railing systems, combining the solid feel of a top handrail with the open and airy look provided by 4+4 or 5+5 laminated safety glass inserts. Glass can be standard factory-cut or custom-shaped and curved. Whether you want curved or shaped glass, we can create it. Inserts can be clear, frosted/matte, sandblasted with patterns, colored laminated, or printed with custom images.
Frameless profile-mounted glass railings are attached to the floor slab or side, either visibly or recessed.
This style uses thicker laminated glass since it functions without a structural frame. Typically, 8+8 tempered laminated glass is used, with 10+10 or 12+12 for public areas. There are no vertical supports; the glass itself is the structural element. We typically work with Q-Railing and BOHLE profiles but can source other systems upon request. These profiles can be mounted on top of or beside the slab and may be hidden behind cladding for a sleek look. We use SIKA products exclusively for waterproofing.
Glass options include clear, matte laminated, sandblasted patterns, colored laminated, or printed designs.
Point-fixed glass railings are attached to the side of the slab using visible or recessed fasteners.
This exclusive design shows only the point fixings (usually 50 mm diameter) on the glass surface. Glass must be tempered due to holes and cutouts. A handrail is optional and can be made from wood or stainless steel. Glass thickness is typically 8+8 tempered laminated, or 10+10 / 12+12 in public applications. Mounting points are spaced ~60 cm apart, but we adapt based on size or shape. We even install point-fixed railings on thick insulation using custom spacers for structural stability. All our work is backed by long-term warranties!
We recommend keeping the railing glass at least 50 mm from the wall to avoid interference with ledges and drip edges. Our standard point fixings provide 10 mm, 30 mm, or 50 mm spacing, with 50 mm commonly used outdoors and 10/30 mm indoors. Custom spacing is also available.
Glass options include clear, frosted/matte, sandblasted patterns, colored laminated, or custom printed designs.
Base-mounted glass railings
This premium system uses minimal-profile base clamps mounted on top of the slab. We offer a variety of types, including custom brackets. Glass is always tempered due to required cutouts. Handrails are optional and can be crafted from wood or stainless steel. Glass thickness is typically 8+8, 10+10, or 12+12 tempered laminated, depending on the use case. We space clamps ~60 cm apart unless structural demands require different spacing. We use SIKA products to ensure full waterproofing.
Glass options include clear, frosted/matte, sandblasted patterns, colored laminated, or custom printed designs.
Juliet glass balconies are an exclusive solution for buildings without full balconies but with the desire for open air.
We use 8+8 tempered laminated glass mounted with point fixings. Thick insulation is no issue — we have custom spacers for stable installation. These railings can also be clear, frosted, patterned, colored laminated, or custom printed.
