Newsletter and Direct Marketing (DM)

According to Hungarian Act XLVIII of 2008, Section 6, users can give prior and explicit consent for the provider to contact them with advertisements or other content using the contact details provided during registration.

The customer, in accordance with this notice, may also consent to the processing of their personal data required for sending advertising offers.

The provider does not send unsolicited advertisements. Users can unsubscribe without justification, free of charge. In this case, the provider deletes all personal data necessary for sending offers and will not contact the user with further advertisements. Users can unsubscribe by clicking the link in the message.

According to Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information, Section 20 (1), the following must be defined for data management of newsletter services:

a) the fact of data collection
b) the scope of those involved
c) the purpose of data collection
d) the duration of data management
e) persons authorized to access the data
f) the rights of the data subjects

Fact of data collection and data scope: name, email address, date, time.
Scope of those involved: all subscribers to the newsletter.
Purpose of data management: sending advertising emails, providing information about products, promotions, features, etc.
Duration: until the consent is withdrawn (unsubscription).
Authorized data handlers: employees of the data controller, respecting data protection principles.
User rights: the user may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, free of charge.
Legal basis: voluntary consent of the user, Act CXII of 2011, Section 5 (1), and Act XLVIII of 2008, Section 6 (5).

Advertisers, service providers, or publishers must maintain a record of individuals who consented to data handling. Data in this register may only be used for the specified purpose until the consent is revoked, and may only be transferred to a third party with prior consent.

In accordance with Act CXII of 2011, Section 20 (1), the following must be defined regarding data transmission activity through the webshop website:
